The decision seeks to preserve the business of exhibitors and visitors as well as ensure the formation of a showcase with the latest market developments and the presence of the large firms in the sector

The sector has supported the fiMMA – Maderalia decision, which retains both the planned agenda of events for the new dates of the first week of June as well as the exhibition capacity of the biennial.

Valencia, 26 February 2020.- FIMMA – Maderalia has decided to move its next edition in the first week of June in the face of the situation motivated by the spread of Coronavirus and the consequences arising among foreign exhibitors and visitors, especially Italy and Central Europe. In this sense, the next edition of FIMMA – Maderalia will be from Tuesday 2 to Friday 5 of this year, in the same facilities of Feria Valencia and in the same terms of participation.

This decision, as the organizers have pointed out, seeks to preserve the business of both exhibitors and the thousands of visitors that were planned from 10 to 13 next March. In this sense, the decision has been agreed with the sector that has given the go-ahead to the new dates in June as it does not interfere with the annual business cycles of companies.

The FIMMA – Maderalia team has already moved its decision to the exhibitors, who have understood the situation and have shown their firm commitment to be present from 2 to 5 June at FIMMA – Maderalia 2020. The event, in this sense, is already working to continue the promotion and dissemination of a new call with total guarantee of success.

The Valencian employer of the sector will lead a large exhibition area of more than 1000 m2 in which the latest progress will be shown for the sector of projects and reforms.

Valencia, 19 November 2019.- The carpentry will be one of the great axes on which the next edition of Maderalia will pivot. The event, which will be held in conjunction with the FIMMA biennial of machinery and technology from 10 to 13 next March at Feria Valencia, will host a large exhibition area of more than 1000 m2 in which companies specialized in this heterogeneous segment will show the latest innovations on the market.

It is a joint and specialized exhibition that is led by the Association of Carpentry and Related Entrepreneurs of the Valencian Community (ASEMAD) and through which it is intended to put in value before the market the offer, service and products highly qualified companies. In this sense, as noted by the president of ASEMAD and vice president of the regional employer of the sector, FEVAMA, Alejandro Bermejo, “the idea comes after observing that a large number of associates are constantly participating in this fair. In this way we think that grouping in a common space increases both our visibility and that of the association, as well as being an attraction to the visitor since many of the companies that expose complement each other”.

For Bermejo, CEO of the firm Molduras Alto Turia SL, one of the main objectives will be the value of this sector in a segment as competitive as the contract. “Wood and its by-products bring quality, elegance, design and comfort to projects and is therefore a fundamental part of the contract world,” explains the entrepreneur, for whom carpentry offers “products with high added value, outside of what is standard and most importantly – within the time of awareness in which we are – organic, sustainable and fully renewable products.”

As a result, “we are increasingly prescribers betting on ecodesign and that’s where they opt for our products, which are of little environmental impact, since it is a controlled extraction material, manufacturing without generating waste and totally biodegradable, in addition to storing CO2 during its long service life.”

In addition, another of the great attractions of the new exhibition area will be the interaction with new materials and wood species. As Bermejo himself points out from ASEMAD, “innovation is essential not to get stuck. Beyond the wood itself we can observe new ways of working it and the emergence of other species that are booming, since it is a raw material that regenerates at a rate higher than that of its consumption, that is: inexhaustible”.

Thus, in this new exhibition area you will see “new in those that incorporate wood in its composition, due to its stable and resistant behavior, in addition to its acoustic, thermal and healthy advantages”.

Participating companies

To date they have already confirmed their participation in this area of carpentry a good number of companies, many of which are firm references in their respective segments. This is the case of firms such as Amargos, Recurval, Clavicant, Ecoparquets Siglo XXI, Ideatec, Interfusta or JM Doorsecurity.

Likewise there will also be firms such as Mas Madera Valladolid, Miguel Garrido, Molduras Mival, Moldyport – Decora, Puertas Castalla, Recushotel, TVS and Molduras Alto Turia SL. The call remains open to the incorporation of more companies.

With this, the showcase of Maderalia increases its appeal and adds to large thematic areas such as hardware, doors and floors that will make up an offer especially attractive for the reform, installation, projects and contract professional.

FORUM HOLZBAU, 1st International Wood Construction Forum, heats engines for May

The 1st International Forum for Construction with Wood, organized^by the FORUM HOLZBAU platform, in collaboration with the Wooden Chair of the University of Navarra, will be held in Pamplona on May 23 and 24.

FORUM HOLZBAU is an international platform that promotes the development of wood construction worldwide.

For 24 years has been organizing a world-renowned conference for wood construction in Garmisch, Germany, whose scientific and technical quality is endorsed by five world-renowned universities, such as THS Rosenheim and TU Munich ( Germany), BFH Biel (Switzerland), Aalto University (Finland), TU Wien (Austria), UNBC Prince George (Canada). It is one of the largest and most relevant conferences on wood construction, with more than 1,800 participants from all over the world.

In addition to the central congress of Germany, annual conferences are held by Forum Holzbau in other European countries such as France, Italy, Sweden/Norway, United Kingdom, Poland… spain is now to be incorporated in response to the growing interest that wood construction arouses in our country.

It is a congress focused eminently on technical and practical issues, focused on the professional world. CEVISAMA IS ESTABLISHED AS A REFERENCE FAIR FOR THE BATHROOM SECTOR

Cevisama is established as a reference fair in Spain for the bathroom equipment sector. In its next edition, together with the best and widest offering of the ceramics and related industry, the fair will have virtually all the leading companies in the bathroom sector, which return to Cevisama to show their novelties and to take advantage of the opportunities that Cevisama as an internationalization platform. This is the case of emblematic brands such as Profiltek or Royo Group, but also of others as outstanding as Nuovvo, Torbath, Mogar/Mibaño or Baños 10, to name a few examples.

Feria Valencia and AMC will collaborate on a new trade show project in the world of cooking for 2017

Espacio Cocina incorporates the historic fair brand SICI to form a powerful offer of cuisine from 21 to 24 next February at Feria Valencia.

The CEO of Feria Valencia, Enrique Soto, and the president of the Spanish Association of Furniture Manufacturers and Kitchen Supplements (AMC), Juan Luis Salvador, have signed a collaboration agreement to form a powerful kitchen offering next month February in ‘See Us in Valencia’, the initiative that brings together the joint celebration of the Cevisama and Feria Hábitat Valencia salons.

Under this agreement, the offer of this sector will be grouped around SPACE KITCHEN – SICI, a project through which Feria Valencia hosts a historical brand in the fair area of the kitchen such as SICI (Integral Salon of Integral Kitchen) and that improves , in this way, all the global offer around the interior design, decoration and architecture of ‘See us in Valencia’, which will celebrate its fourth edition next February at Feria Valencia.
