THEY ARE NOT SYNONYMOUS
 Glass: It is an inorganic material obtained from the fusion at 1500oC of silica sand, sodium carbonate and limestone. Glass is not a solid element. The glass is in the state of vitreous matter, which means that it is a liquid with a very high viscosity that gives it rigidity and hardness, making it appear solid without being solid, although the glass is recycled, it is important to know that it does not biodegrade.
